Debbie Madsen

Debbie Madsen is a retired PWC music teacher and operatic singer. She represents the Woodbridge Music Club on the Arts Council. She received a BA in music from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and an MA in vocal performance from George Mason. Hailed in the Washington Post for her “effortless high notes and exquisitely fresh voice”, she has performed at the Terrace Theater of the Kennedy Center, the Barns of Wolf Trap, the National Cathedral, the National Presbyterian Church, and the Mansion at Strathmore. (Debbie joined the Council Board mid-term last year, and shares her history with us here as one of our newest directors!)
